Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. With her signature spiky blond hair and her pumped-up appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of dining out, and provides simple, easy-to-learn techniques for home cooks in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell has worked at New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine tradition and its environment. Additionally, she competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. Growing up in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell discovered a love of cooking and food early on. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful experience. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic location to learn. Following graduation, Chef Burrell spent a time in Italy studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners while working at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. It was during this time that her experience in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and has made an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell is a well-known ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists children with obstacles. She speaks about her cooking passion, and also shares her experiences in the food world when she is in the United States for the roles of mentors and speakers. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne often says that she feels so lucky to be able to share my passion for life with people.
